Creekside Farm is 125 acres of wooded hillsides, rolling meadows and fertile creek bottoms in Athens, Ohio. The bulk of the farm is situated on a broad clearing bordered by multiple creeks. The southern part of the property opens to the wide creek bottom that gives the farm its name- Creekside.
Creekside Farm is an Animal Welfare Approved farm run by a husband and wife team. We milk a small herd of goats and use the milk to make farmstead cheeses, yogurt, and goat milk soap in our on-farm facility. For the health of the animals and the land, our goats are rotationally grazed and seasonally milked.
Additionally we grow raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries following organic principles. We do not use pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers. Instead we focus on building healthy soil and healthy plants.
Our products are made using electricity from solar power.
